Let’s say you’re in the market for a widget (okay, not very original, but wait for my point). The widget maker’s website says it’s a super product, better than anything else on the market. Your next door neighbor has one, and she says it’s great, she loves it.
Whose opinion will carry more weight with you? The widget maker? Or your neighbor?
