What a super idea! I detest music on hold, and the on-hold sales pitches are almost as bad.

Thanks for your comment, Sue. I have mixed feelings about the on-hold sales messages. Yes, they can be annoying. But when they're done well, they can tell you about products and services the company offers that you may not know about and would be interested in. I probably have a bias here, because I used to write scripts for a company that created on-hold messages.

I think allowing your callers to opt-out of any on-hold noise is the best way to go.
